This figure was part of the Important Ladies of English History series. The figure was designed by Peggy Davies and was introduced in 1948 and discontinued in 1953. The Lady Anne Nevill lived from 1456 to 1485 and was the unwilling Queen of Richard III having been forced into marrying him following the death of her first husband Edward (Prince of Wales). Her short life was one of the tragedies of the War of the Roses. The figure is made of fine bone china and is approximately 9.5 inches tall. No chips or cracks observed on the figure - see photos for details of condition.
